IELTS
Brace yourselves, conquer your fears. Schedule that exam - that's what I did. Ahamdullilah, the result is good enough for my overseas application.
IELTs is an organization that validates individual's knowledge and usage of English language. There are two kinds of exam: general and academic test. I took the regular academic, bear in mind that there is also UKVI-Academic.
I chose IDP because of the favorable things I heard about them, the other testing center that offer IELTs examination is British Council, you can find the respective links at the bottom of the page, or you can just search it in google 😂.
Scheduling an exam is quite easy, you can do it anywhere and anytime as long as you have an access to internet and credit card to pay for the exam.
The exam consists of four parts: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. Each part of exam is further divided into different tasks or sections. You'll be graded based on your performance on each part then an overall bandscore will be given. You'll be graded from 0 to 9.
Some testing center allows examinee to take all the exam in one day, if there is a slot, but most of the time the speaking exam will be scheduled on a separate day.
Since I'm fond of watching youtube videos I took the opportunity to watch two or three videos about IELTs in it. By the way, IDP also offers review classes, and a master class that tackles about what to expect on the exam and how to take the exam.
That's it for now...
