The Perks of Being a Wallflower

The book and I have been acquainted few years ago, but it's just recently that we have fully met.

Stephen Chbosky depict a story that revolves around Charlie a 15 year old boy, the book shows a time-to-time letter (diary entry for me) to an unknown friend of him. Reading this book will show us the inner most thought of our protagonist, his views regarding himself, schools, making friends, his friends, and his family. Anyone could relate one way or another with the characters.

The story is quite intriguing, but at the same time humorous. Taking some time off to read this book wouldn't be put into vain.

On a rate of 1-5, five as the highest I would rate the book as 3.5. Don't get me wrong, Chbosky did a terrific job with this one. But comparing it to the other books that i have read, somehow I felt as if there is something missing. I have not yet figure it out, and if ever I figure it out in the future i'll be glad to share it with everyone.

BTW the story would show how our main lead is simply ambivalent to everything. At first I thought it was normal since ambivalence is very normal in adolescence, but by continuous reading up to the end all I could say is that I am surprised.
