At the same month that I have completed the so called Professional Nurse Training Program, I also completed the 18 educational unit pre-requisite for the graduate of non-education degree prior to taking the Licensure Examination for Teachers.
The question now is "When will I going to take the LET?"
I don't know. the upcoming LET on September is out of the question since I am not able to apply for it. Hopefully, this coming January. If everything goes well.
So regarding the 18 Educational Units.
I think for the tuition fee it cost them around 18-19k.
I took it at The Philippine Women's University (Taft)
- How long? and How did I manage it?
The program is under distance education so basically all you need is your computer with a reliable internet connection and just be present in the school when necessary and during the exam. I completed the 18 units for almost seven months? The PWU (taft) is under trimestral basis I enrolled only on two trimester 9 units each.
- Did I get the certificate?
No, the entire program of Certificate in Teaching Profession encompasses 27 educational units (I think). Since I only need 18 to take the LET, I don't see any reason to finish it up anymore just for the sake of certificate. Because if I am lucky enough instead of that certificate, I can have a license instead (wishful thinking).
